MyStorage started in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2004 when founder James Bostwick saw the need for backyard storage. In 2007, Mr. Bostwick moved his manufacturing facility to Clovis, New Mexico which is where it remains today. As time progressed, numerous clients had a need for Self-Storage, but they had no room in their backyards. The fixed Self-Storage concept, using our all-steel storage units, was born and the first 25-unit Self-Storage facility was built.
In 2020, we partnered with Dave, Beth, and Gabe Dean, who opened the doors to a new manufacturing facility, MyStorage Great Lakes, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Shortly after, the Dean’s brought in new partners, the Miller Brothers, and in 2021, together, they opened a manufacturing facility located in Bismarck, North Dakota. In 2022 they opened the most recent manufacturing facility in Decatur, Alabama.
By 2023, many clients have used our units to successfully develop or add to existing Self-Storage facilities in New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan, North Dakota, Minnesota, Mississippi, Illinois, and Georgia.
